Few clients at our Trumpington branch asked if we could take unwanted clothes for charity. We realised that it would be helping our community, and Arthur Rank Hospice has been recommended.
Let me tell you a little bit about this local charity:
Founded in 1981, Arthur Rank Hospice supports people living in Cambridgeshire with an advanced serious illness or a life-limiting condition and those in need of end-of-life care.
We will be taking in any bags of unwanted clothes you may have been lying around. We will then deliver them to an Arthur Rank Charity Shop to make some extra pennies to keep doing the great work they are doing.
Vicki spoke to Siya from the Arthur Rank Shop in Cambridge Burleigh Street a couple of weeks back, and she said they were struggling to compete with all the other big charities around and would love our help.
PS: Only the Trumpington and Cambridge Branches will take the clothes.
