After 3 very successful years at their shop in Milton Road, Farthings Cambridge is expanding and has now opened a Dry Cleaning Shop at 1 Anstey Way in Trumpington.
“We have been blessed with great support from amazing clients who appreciate detailed care for their fine garments and soft furnishings. This has helped us see record growth and therefore we chose to expand to Trumpington” says Laurence de Wet – The owner of Farthings in Cambridge.
Farthings Cambridge works with Farthings of Newmarket where all the detailed dry cleaning is carried out. “Farthings was established in 1990, Newmarket being our 1st branch (independently owned and run) and with over 30 years of experience and an outstanding reputation, clients can be assured that their fine garments are in good hands. We are proud to be serving local communities in Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge and now also in Trumpington. Laurence is dedicated to amazing customer service and her tenacious hard-working attitude show in the way she operates the Cambridge business” says James O’Doherty – Owner of Farthings Newmarket.

Farthings Trumpington offer high-end dry cleaning as well as wet cleaning for garments that cannot be dry cleaned. Other services include wedding dress cleaning and preservation, rug cleaning, leather and suede garment cleaning, curtain cleaning as well as garments repairs and alterations.
All garments are cared for by highly experienced team members and each item is hand finished.
Getting to Farthings Trumpington is a breeze as there is free parking available next to the shop or a short walk from Waitrose. It is located right opposite the Shell garage in Trumpington.
Due to the current Covid 19 situation, Farthings Trumpington will see a soft opening that includes opening times on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30am – 4pm and Saturdays from 8:30 am – 3pm. Full-time hours will commence once it is possible.
